Hi 👋🏼 I’m Dorothy, you can call me Dot.

I am a designer from Hong Kong and currently based in Berlin. Throughout my journey, I evolved from a product designer to a design system designer. Always passionate of making things work, intuitive and beautiful. I am curious about understanding people’s behaviours and emotions towards products.

Senior UX / UI Designer

Mobimeo GmbH | Deutsche Bahn • 01/2020 — Present

As part of Deutsche Bahn AG venture, Mobimeo connects existing public transport systems.

At Mobimeo I have an opportunity to focus on Design Systems and DesignOps, establishing UX guidelines, optimising design process and bridging the gap between designers and developers.

Product Designer

Foodora and Foodpanda | Delivery Hero • 08/2016 — 12/2019

Delivery Hero is a multinational online food delivery company based in Berlin and operates in 70+ countries. Foodora combines startup DNA and innovation to bring everyday good food to customers.

I was the key designer in the Checkout and Payment squad, leading various projects such as checkout flow redesign. Heavily involved in UX research, design systems and hiring, which had high-quality results for teams and the business.

Haymarket Media Group is known for media content in sectors such as marketing, design, technology and more.

Managed and designed layouts for the monthly magazine Campaign Asia Pacific and CEI, fully broadened and contributed my print and editorial design knowledge in this position.

Project Coordinator

Cartoon Network | Turner International Asia • 12/2011 — 10/2012

Turner is a global entertainment broadcasting provider that creates premium content to fans, operating 180 channels showcasing 47 brands in 34 languages in over 200 countries.

Project-managed the launch of TV shows including The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, and Ben10 across APAC regions.

A part of the RELX Group, operates in 130+ countries with 10K+ employees, offering top-tier legal and business information globally.

Ownership of the design titles of Human Resources, Focus and Momentum with a print run over 10K monthly.

Besides work…

I am also a bookbinding, letterpress, and tiles lover. When I am not working, you can find me in cafes, parks or museums.
